welcome to seattle, washington. known as the most depressing city in the united states. but some may disagree, to some the rain is soothing and calming. and it keeps out most trouble, known to humans. but in at a well known academy the largest gathering of unknown trouble attend for one of their many years of highschool. even though the students iqs are one of a college graduate, they play it cool and get only 'above normal' scores. not enough to put them in the spotlight, or enough to kick them out.

many of the teenage girls seem like runway models, but they dress down most of the time not to attract attention. although one or two of them will gladly take it. but why? didn't their momma's tell them 'if you'vegot flaunt it?'. isn't that what everyone wants in life? to be overly smart, beautiful, enivied, rich, loved. many students wonder, "are they normal?". many teachers are told to say yes, they are just like you and me. but others, they know the true answer. No they aren't, Haven't you noticed that chill that runs through your spine when they walk by. Or how most of them have the same honey colored eyes? Maybe you noticed when they touch you that their pale white skin is icy cold.

Maybe you noticed they didn't belong either.

On the other hand you have the crazy warm loving, very loyal students that are freakishly tall. Now these students (mostly guys) have no reason to hide anything. they are mostly the party kids that don't care about school and stay up all-night. some of those young fellows have a little sister that they always take with them to the mall, or to a school event. but their most outstanding quality that these teenage boys share is their body warmth. you would think that you have your own personal portable heater with them around. maybe that's why they are popular with the ladies, because they always keep you warm at night.

at lunch time, you observe how they each buy at least three meals. and they eat everysingle bite. compared to the beautiful ones who don't eat anything. and they both seem healthy and fit or not anorexic. and how you see they both have purple bruises under their eyes. compared to the other students, these two groups of people seem to be from a different planet. compared to humans, these two groups look nothing like one.

Maybe you noticed that you didn't belong.
