Cat twisted her wrist and she were quickly pulling into a well-paved driveway before a big white home. "Oh you're kidding me," Cat cursed, half jumping, half tumbling out of the big blue truck. "Lillian you idiot!" She yelled, Lily hadn't even got there yet. "Maria! Maria!" Catalena shouted, beating the door with her fists. "Maria unlock the door!" Ahnk joined in, howling and yapping loudly. "She's probably got her dang music on too loud to hear." Cat told the dog, frowning as they huddled under the small, hardly covering eves. |

" WHAT A BEAUTIFUL MESS! WHAT A BEAUTIFUL MESS I'M IN!" Maria seemed to screech along with her favorite song. She jumped on her bed, dancing. Her computer was going crazy with IM's. She jumped down, landing on her butt. " Ouch." she mumbled. She stood up and looked at the computer screen. Lillian: Maria, unlock the door.
Lillian: We have visitors!
Lillian: Answer me darn it!
Lillian: UGH! Do you KNOW how hard it is to send IM's through my cell phone?!
Oh Jeez. she thought. She opened the door to her bedroom and slammed it shut, running down the staircase. She unlocked the door and threw it open. " Cat!" she said, jumping up and hugging her. She was glad she was skinny and light weight. " Lily was IMing me through her phone. She can nag in the virtual world too!" |

The knee-height terrier jumped up and barked loudly, ear piercingly, and dashed inside the moment Maria opened the door. "Ahnk!" Cat called half-heartedly, but didn't really care, she also bounded in the house, hugging Maria. "Hey there mini tard!" Cat laughed, squeezing tight and letting go. "Aw, we don't have any classes together!" Cat pouted jokingly, glancing at Zac. "She doesn't bite half as hard as Lily." She assured her friend, giggling. "We'll be downstairs Maria, send Lillian down when she get home." Cat smiled and pattered down the steps to the basement, flopping on the couch and flipping on the TV. |

Zac walked in. "Homey." he said, laughing and climbing down the stairs. He sat down next to Cat on the couch. He groaned. "Please tell me we're not going to watch the shopping channel." he teased. "Hey, my birthday is next weekend and I'm having a big party at my house. I was wondering if you could help me get it planned and all that crap." he said, hoping she would. He would get to spend even more time with her.

"UGH!!!" the noise came from the top of the stairs. She seemed to crash down the stairs. "I'M SOAKED!!!" she screeched. Lily threw off her coat and ran into her bedroom. She grabbed a big giant blanket that she never used. She dragged it out and threw it at Zac and Cat who took up all of the couch because Zac had put his feet up after he had taken his shoes off. She went back in her room and grabbed her favorite blanket and slouched into a giant, fluffy recliner. "Comfy." she said. She looked at the other two. Zac was staring at Cat, and she was oblivious to it. She sighed and rolled her eyes. Zac looked up and turned red, turning his eyes to the television. |

Cat turned her head sharply and glared,"Oh yes, I just adore shopping." She cooed sarcastically, whacking him in the ribs with her foot. Catalena tossed him the remote. "You find something on then." She grinned. Then he was talking more, and Cat intently listened. "Oh. Um, of course. Not that I have any experience with the matter but.. um, there's a first for everything!" She laughed happily. Then her attention snapped to the steps, and the rather angry Lily storming down them, sopping wet. Cat pointed and laughed loudly and mockingly. "Ha! Should've come in the truck!" She shouted at her younger friend. Cat flung her feet off of Zac and got up. "I'm gonna go get something to drink. You guys want some?" |

Lily wasn't listening. She let out a soft snore as she drifted to sleep. She mumbled then sunk deeper into the chair, her snores drowned out by the TV.

Zac laughed. "I don't think she wants anything." he said, watching her head disappear under the blankets. "I'll take anything." he replied, flipping through the channels. He stopped on some random movie channel, some romantic drama flick. He tossed the remote on the coffee table, stretching as he yawned. He watched the movie for a minute, refusing to let himself fall asleep.

Cat nodded and threw back her head to laugh, then ducked, sheepish. She wouldn't want to wake a sleeping Lily, or she could lose a limb. "Oh come on, you don't know tea. You're a guy. But I half couldn't tell by how much you were blushing today," She giggled wickedly. "What was that all about anyway? And inside joke between you and Lily I should know about?" She asked, digging through the refrigerator, not looking at Zac. Ahnk joined her in nosing through the fridge. "Ahnk!" She scolded the small dog, swatting him away. She grabbed a ginger ale and a mountain dew, kicking the door closed with her foot and tossing Zac the mountain dew. Cat settled down at the table. |

Zac felt like he was going to die. "Yeah, an inside joke. And you don't get to hear it." he said, sticking his tongue out at her. Gee. What an excuse. he thought sarcastically. "Thanks." he replied enthusiatically to the mountain dew. He looked at the TV. He changed the channel to Fox, knowing there would be a game on. "Whoo! Go Bears!" he yelled at the TV. He stared in horror at Lillian, watching her jump awake.

"WHAT THE HELL?! she screamed. She glared at Zac. "Nice one doofus. Scare the crap out of me." she spat at him. She grabbed the blanket and went to her room, throwing the blanket on her bed. She came out and climbed the stairs two at a time. She took the other flight up and burst through Maria's door. "Maria! You better be doing your homework!" she yelled as she burst through. Maria glared up at her. "Good girl." she said, walking back down the stairs. She heard the door creak as her sister closed it. Lily grabbed a root beer from the upstairs kitchen and went back downstairs to the basement. "Hey, anyone want to play any games?" she asked, happily sipping her root beer. |

Cat slowly turned her head away from her drinked and, swallowing, glared at the back of his head. Scowling, she said,"Yeah, well, Lily will tell me about it eventually. She can't keep a secret for her life." She laughed, and laughed even hardly, spewing ginger ale all over the table when Zac shouted and Lily screamed. Bubbled burned her nose as her pop upmost flooded through her nostrils. Gulping it does in a half choke, half swallow, Cat rushed to get a towel. "Zac you tard!" She shouted, mopping up the pop and whipping it at him. Ankle Biter was now howling and yapping at the commotion, causing Cat to smack him lightly, pick him up, and toss him on Zac, laughing. "Deal with that, Mister!" She told him, giggling as Lily cascaded down the stairs. "Truth or Dare." She replied almost instantly after Lily finished her sentence. |

Yep. Zac was going to die today. He glared at Lily. He hoped she wouldn't say anything. He sat and sipped his mountain dew, the sweetness calming him a bit.

Lillian answered Zac's glare with another glare. She turned her attention back to Cat. "Truth or dare, Kitty Cat?" she said, laughing at the nickname. She sat down, taking another drink of her root beer. |
